Mixed Media Panel for Dusty Attic
Now that we’re living near the forest again, I decided to pick up running to. So I run a 5k every other day mainly in the forest. It almost feels therapeutic and I love the smell of the trees and the singing of the birds. That feeling, that happy place, was the great inspiration for this project. I’ve created a Mixed Media panel using one of the most beautiful Dusty Attic frames and with some gorgeous forest colors.
The chipboard title says ‘Breathtaking’ and it does have this double meaning, for the forest is breathtakingly beautiful, but it’s also pretty breathtaking to run there, lol.
The green pebbles are actually glass pebbles, used for decoration in flower pieces and I painted them on the back using metallique paint which gives them this magical light-reflecting effect.
This was quite the project with all kinds of different techniques and quite challenging to make it fit the video but I did my best lol. You can watch it on my youtube channel.
And if you like my videos and want to see more of my Dusty Attic projects make sure to subscribe to my channel.
I’ve used several pieces of Dusty Attic chipboard and stencils on the panel. You can see the Dusty Attic products I’ve used down below and follow the link to the store by clicking on the images.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!
